We use both formative and summative assessment to inform individualized instruction and report student growth. We also teach children to be self-reflective of their own learning and set learning goals for themselves.
Teachers meet with parents during falls conferences and students lead their own conference with teachers and parents in the spring.
In January and June, you will receive feedback on your child’s progress in math, language, and the learner profile in narrative report cards.
Following each unit of inquiry, you will also receive a brief report on your child’s engagement, skill development, and conceptual understanding.
